Monoblack Records is a small DIY, independently funded record label based in Chicago, Illinois founded by Jason Williams of grungegaze/psych-rock band, Animal Holograms, run with the creative and managerial support of Miles Flack and Matthew Hardy.
History[]
Started shortly after putting together Animal Holograms' fifth lineup with Ryan Dahl and Sam Brown, Williams decided to build a small, community dependent DIY label from the ground up from the living room of their apartment above the Burlington.
