Brian David Vig, also known to the world as Butch Vig, is an American music producer and drummer for the alternative rock band Garbage. He has produced many notable albums for alternative rock, punk, and grunge bands. He is most notable for being the producer of Nirvana's hit album, Nevermind, which earned him the nickname, "The Nevermind Man."
